Glory House offers other services as well, such as adding a ceremony.  Indoor or outdoor ceremony options are available.

You may bring in your own alcohol under certain rules.  Glory House requires the alcohol delivered to the venue at least one day before your event.  The event staff will setup your bar and Glory House provides all bar china, disposables, ice, mixers, soft drinks and the bartender.  There is a charge for the bar setup, but it is much less expensive than purchasing retail alcohol as part of your food and beverage package.

You will bring in your DJ, cake and other vendors as needed, but Glory House does offer a sound system setup with iPod capability for a nominal fee.

Glory House Catering was launched in January, 2000 by Jo Ann Goin.  From inception Glory House has been committed to quality cuisine, beautiful presentation, attention to detail and friendly customer service.  Glory House offers three main services:

Glory House started with off site catering services to corporations, delivering lunches and event cuisine.  After establishing a repeat business base, the company began marketing to the private sector for private events and wedding catering.  With years of hard work, Glory House became a very popular caterer among many high end venues in the Dallas, Ft. Worth Metroplex.  Glory House secured placement on many preferred vendor lists and became well known in the private events and wedding industry in DFW.

Late 2007, Glory House expanded by purchasing an adjacent property and doubling the size its commercial space.  After remodeling and updating, Glory House opened for onsite receptions in August, 2007.  Since that time, Glory House provides services for onsite events weekly.

Continuing with corporate and private off site catering as well as onsite events, Glory House continued to grow.  In November, 2009, Glory House Bistro was launched onsite.  The Bistro now affords many people the pleasure of eating Glory House cuisine on a daily basis.  Open Monday through Friday from 11 Am to 2 Pm, the Bistro provides more growth opportunity and use of the venue space that would be under utilize during weekday hours.  Now customers can get a taste of Glory House without having to throw a party!

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The U.S. Chamber of Commerce today announced the winners of its annual Blue Ribbon Small Business Awards, a program that recognizes companies for their dedication to the principles of free enterprise and contributions to restoring jobs and supporting economic growth. This year’s winners were selected from a record number of applicants across the nation, and each demonstrates exceptional business practices in areas including strategic planning, employee development, community involvement, and customer service.

“As the business community has worked hard to do its part in moving the country forward economically, small businesses have continued to be the driving force responsible for much of our progress,” U.S. Chamber President and CEO Thomas J. Donohue said. “Our Blue Ribbon Award winners are the best of the best—growing and succeeding despite significant challenges.”

The Chamber will announce seven regional finalists on March 19 and honor all of this year’s Blue Ribbon Small Business Award winners at the 10th annual America’s Small Business Summit, taking place June 11 – 13 in Washington, D.C. During the summit, one regional finalist will receive the DREAM BIG Small Business of the Year Award, sponsored by Sam’s Club®, and a $10,000 cash prize courtesy of the U.S. Chamber. All Blue Ribbon winners are also eligible for the Community Excellence Award, which will be decided through online public voting February 19 – 28.
