Glory House Catering was honored with winning Small Business of the Year for Irving Texas 2013 & BEST CATERER!  Announced  at the Best in Irving Awards ceremony at the Four Seasons Resort in Irving on Thursday, April 18th, Jo Ann Goin and Kiana Goin received the awards.  A great thank you to all our loyal customers, the Irving Chamber and all our great supporters in Irving!

Irving Blue Ribbon Winners Recognized at U.S. Chamber Small Business Summit

The delegation from Irving enjoyed breakfast on the morning of the second day while the Small Business Blue Ribbon Winners and Free Enterprise Honorees from Irving and across America were recognized. In attendance to receive their awards was Jo Ann Goin – Glory House Catering, Phillip Dye and Lynelle Dye – Larsen Dye Associates Architects, Cory Merchant and Jeff Youngblood – FastSigns – Irving/Las Colinas, Sherry and Ricky Stephenson – Car Concepts-Rick’s Independent Car Kare, and David Fiegenschue – FigDesign.

Glory House Supports Irving Heritage Society

Glory House supports the Irving Heritage Society.  Glory House has been involved with this society for many years.  Jo Ann Goin, owner of Glory House is pleased to be elected to the board of directors for the Heritage Society.

DMN reports - Irving Heritage Society elects new officers  As reported by Deborah Fleck – Dallas Morning News (blog) The Irving Heritage Society elected new officers at its May meeting at the Heritage House. President Mary Moorman conducted the meeting and Patty Landers Caperton installed the officers. An ice cream social followed. Serving as president is Chris Wallace of the Irving Chamber. Other officers include Janice Carroll, president-elect; Lorraine Taylor, first vice president; Patty Landers Caperton, second vice president; Kaye Ward, third vice president; Pam Engman, recording secretary; Connie Gifford Herrington, corresponding secretary; Diane Mannon, treasurer; Kevin Kendro, historian; and Mary Moorman, parliamentarin.  Directors include Sigrid Canto, Doug Fox, Jo An Goin, Joy Goodrum, Stacey Martin and Elizabeth Philipp.  The society will continue its yearlong celebration of the Heritage House, a restored pioneer home built for the C. P. Schulze family. Tours of the house are offered from 3 to 5 p.m. the first Sunday of the month. Call 972-252-3838.

Glory House, FigDesign, Elemental Methods Host Chamber Mixer

The January Greater Irving Las Colinas Chamber Mixer hosted at Glory House!

The Mixer highlighted the flexible marketing and branding refresh called ‘gloryhouse 2.0′ which was designed and produced by FigDesign for Glory House. And Elemental Methods showcased the updated Glory House iPhone app — that puts the Bistro menu in your pocket — that they originally developed in 2011.

Glory House Wins Best of Business Award by SBCA (Small Business Community Association)

Glory House Catering has been selected for the 2011 Best of Business Award by the SBCA Community.

The SBCA Community recognizes and awards business owners because they often do not receive the recognition they deserve. Business owners are role models for everyone whether they know it or not. SBCA Commnuity 2011 Best of Business Award winners are a valuable asset to their community and exemplify what makes small businesses great.

The SBCA Community selected Glory House based on three key areas:
