Catering and Receptions on The Main do their part to
reduce waste, recycle, save energy, improve indoor air
quality!
Glory House Catering was awarded the R.M.Hudson Business and Industry Award on 8/3/09.
Glory House was nominated and awarded by Keep Irving Beautiful.
The award was given for exemplary efforts in environmentally friendly business practices.
These are just some of the ways we are helping the
environment and becoming better stewards of our
community:

Installed an insulated foam roof that has reduced
heating and cooling costs by ½ (installed by A&L
Foam Roofing in Irving Texas)

Recycling paper, boxes and aluminum cans

Recycling plastics, steel food containers, aerosol
cans

Offering
alternative biodegradable disposables such as sugar
cane plates,
potato cutlery and corn cups

Changing
to energy efficient lighting

off lights when not in use
